About the Role

Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Reading, Belfast or Dublin.

As Technical Authority, you'll play a key strategic role in our Offshore Engineering Geoscience team providing technical stewardship to our offshore wind portfolio of projects.

You will be responsible for:

- Technical discipline leadership of innovation opportunities, including JIPs and academic partnerships

- Supporting the team's technical capabilities through recruitment, development, and resource planning

- Providing design assurance and associated reporting and participating in project design reviews

- Input to and review of project Design Management Plans

- Participation in Project Assurance Reviews

What do I need?

You’ll be our subject matter expert on geotechnical engineering so it’s likely you’ll have a relevant qualification with significant experience and chartership.

We’d love you to have experience of:

- Planning, management, and delivery of geotechnical activities for offshore wind projects

- Offshore ground investigation and foundation design including a working knowledge of the common codes of practice and design standards

- Liaising with certifiers and lenders for design validation and verification

- Geotechnical interpretation and advanced lab testing

- Geohazard and risk management
