Base Location:  Perth or Aberdeen

Salary:  £42,600 - £64,000 + performance related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Relationship Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of high value customer accounts within our Transmission business.  In this role, you’ll support our customers through every stage of their journey, from application and contract preparation to energisation and ongoing account management.  You’ll act as the key point of contact for each customer, ensuring their experience is positive, professional, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

You will

  • Lead the end to end management of customer accounts, ensuring a high-quality experience and timely, accurate information across each stage of the customer journey.
  • Manage a portfolio of customer projects, understanding their priorities and development plans, and supporting them with regular engagement and portfolio reviews.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to prepare and issue contract offers, some valued over £100m, in line with regulatory timescales and customer expectations.
  • Oversee the progression of contracts and delivery of connection schemes, from acceptance through to energisation, invoicing, reconciliation, and, where needed, contract termination.
  • Gather customer insights and feedback to support service improvement, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and regulatory submissions.

You have

  • Strong experience managing large customer accounts or projects, ideally within an energy, infrastructure, or regulated environment.
  • In-depth understanding of contracts, commercial terms, and the UK energy industry, including regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and negotiation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and resolving complex issues.
  • The ability to analyse and present commercial or technical data clearly and contribute to regulatory reporting and incentive submissions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and corporate IT systems, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
