You will

  • Proactively engage with communities at the earliest stages of a project to build trust and facilitate open dialogue, helping to secure understanding and support for future proposals or construction works.

  • Ensure all affected parties and stakeholders are kept informed about SSEN Transmission’s works, including potential impacts and mitigation measures.

You have

  • Educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak publicly in front of large audiences.
  • Ability to develop and manage healthy relationships in challenging project circumstances whilst negotiating and influencing internal and external organisations and individuals.
  • Be a connector of people and information and can provide informed advice, rigour and challenge at team level to ensure that stakeholders views are given due consideration.
