The role
As the Collections Financial Analyst, you will support the Collections leadership team in all aspects of accurate financial budget delivery as well as supporting Third party ledger reports. You will engage with key leads across the Business Energy Collections team and with Finance and Compliance functions to facilitate successful deliver.
You will
Manage the co-ordination of risk and issue management, including providing constructive challenge to Third Parties and escalation of operational risks to Collections Leadership Team.
Have responsibility for managing expenditure activities, as well as monthly reconciliation within agreed reporting timetable
Assist with the production of reports and presentations, such as monthly KPI reporting and specific asset reviews, for both internal and external meetings.
Conduct regular assessments of actual and committed costs, cost variance and evaluate the remaining forecast spend to enable decision making.
Directly manage relationships with key governance stakeholders in Finance, Compliance, Procurement
You have
Previous experience in an analytical or commercial role within the finance or energy industry.
A driven results-oriented skillset with a positive, professional, independent problem-solving attitude.
Proven ability to effectively prioritise, plan and organise whilst balancing immediate and longer-term team priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and present with different audiences and levels of stakeholders.
Strong IT skills w, such as experience would be advantageous with experience of working with databases and Microsoft Office packages to conduct analysis and reporting of performance.
