The Role

We're looking for a Business Support Coordinator to join our Onshore Wind, Solar & Battery (OWSB) team. This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of the portfolio, providing operational, governance and project coordination support across a wide range of renewable energy projects and business activities.

You'll work closely with Project Directors, Project Managers and senior leaders, helping to ensure projects, governance activities and business operations run smoothly and efficiently. From coordinating governance forums and maintaining project documentation to supporting financial processes and stakeholder engagement, you'll play a key role in enabling successful delivery across the OWSB portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within one of the UK's leading renewable energy businesses while contributing to projects that support the transition to a net-zero future.

You Will

  • Coordinate project and portfolio activities, ensuring alignment of priorities, actions, governance requirements and delivery milestones.
  • Support governance processes including Project Review Boards (PRBs), leadership meetings and reporting cycles, ensuring actions and outputs are effectively tracked and delivered.
  • Maintain portfolio documentation, SharePoint sites, project systems and trackers to ensure information remains accurate, controlled and accessible.
  • Provide financial and operational support, including purchase orders, invoice processing, budget tracking and liaison with procurement and finance teams.
  • Coordinate stakeholder events, workshops, site visits, travel arrangements and onboarding activities, ensuring an excellent experience for internal and external stakeholders.

You Have

  • Experience in a Business Support, Project Coordination, PMO, Executive Assistant or similar operational support role.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing activities simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting governance, reporting, project administration or business operations within a complex environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work effectively across all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, with experience using reporting and business systems. Experience of Power BI would be advantageous.
