The role

If so, we want you to organise and lead our Regional Major Projects team and drive the success of high-profile BEMS projects across London & South East!

As a Regional Projects Manager, you’ll oversee a portfolio of high-value projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll lead a team of Project Managers and Engineers, fostering collaboration, driving performance, and maintaining accountability for project success.

You will

• Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers, Application and Commissioning Engineers, promoting a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee project execution from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, client expectations, and SSE’s strategic goals.
• Monitor financial performance, mitigate risks, and optimise resource allocation to maximise profitability.
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, clients, and internal teams, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
• Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery processes, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.

You have

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager in the BEMS / Building Controls sector, with a track record of leading teams and delivering complex projects.
• A strong understanding of BEMS technologies (e.g., Siemens, Trend, Tridium) and commercial project management principles.
• The ability to align project outcomes with business objectives, balancing financial, operational, and customer needs.
• The capability to thrive under pressure, navigate challenges with creativity, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to C-suite executives, with polished written and verbal skills.
