The role

As an Onshore Operations Site Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the safe, reliable and efficient operation of Stronelairg Wind Farm and other renewable energy sites across the GB North Region. Based in the spectacular Scottish Highlands, Stronelairg is a 228MW, 66-turbine wind farm operating at around 600 metres above sea level, providing a challenging and rewarding environment in which to apply your technical, operational and leadership skills.

You'll work with internal teams, contractors and key stakeholders to maintain high standards of safety, asset availability and performance, while helping ensure our renewable energy sites continue to deliver clean energy for years to come.

You will

  • Act as a safety ambassador, promoting positive safety behaviours and maintaining high standards with colleagues, contractors, visitors and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate maintenance and operational activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to the required standard while supporting the availability and production of the wind farm.

  • Manage site resources and budgets in line with forecasts, while maintaining high standards of housekeeping, facilities and the overall site environment.

You have

  • Experience working with electro-mechanical systems, including rotating machinery, gearboxes, switchgear, electrical systems and control systems.
  • Experience of working at height and with pressure systems and lifting equipment, with a strong understanding of safe systems of work.
  • The ability to read and understand engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, electrical schematics and control system information.
  • Experience managing small budgets, with an understanding of financial processes and the importance of managing expenditure effectively.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and build strong relationships across different teams and levels of seniority.
