The Role:

Are you someone who loves solving puzzles and finding the story behind the numbers? In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our customer income operations — ensuring that incoming payments are correctly allocated, accounts are reconciled, and customer queries are resolved with accuracy and care.

You’ll handle high volumes of transactions, using your analytical mindset and Excel skills to investigate discrepancies, identify trends, and make sure every detail adds up. Beyond day-to-day processing, you’ll also play a key part in improving how we work — suggesting smarter ways to streamline processes and keeping documentation up to date so the whole team benefits.

You’ll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking Income team that values accuracy, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Every day brings a new challenge — and the satisfaction of seeing your work directly impact customer satisfaction and company success.

You will

  • Accurately allocate customer payments to the correct accounts, ensuring smooth and timely reconciliation.

  • Investigate and resolve payment and account queries, using logical problem-solving to identify root causes.

  • Work with large data sets, maintaining a high level of accuracy under pressure.

  • Use Excel to analyse customer data to identify potential discrepancies

  • Collaborate with colleagues in Finance, Collections and Customer Service to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

  • Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Keep process documentation clear, current, and easy to follow.

What do I need?

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you enjoy investigating issues and finding the right solution.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with high volumes of data.

  • Confident using Excel (e.g. sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and lookups).

  • Great communication skills and a collaborative approach.

  • A proactive mindset — always looking for ways to make things work better.
