Base Location: Aldershot

Salary: £34,749 - £40,939 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Onsite

We’re looking for a committed and safety-focused Rapid Response Officer (RRO) to join our team and play a critical role in restoring power quickly and safely for our customers.

As an RRO for supply restoration, you’ll lead from the front during network incidents, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality restoration of supply while delivering strong performance against key measures such as Customer Interruptions, Customer Minutes Lost and Customer Satisfaction.

You’ll balance operational, technical and commercial priorities, all while providing a professional, customer-first service when it matters most.

You will be:

  • Leading safe and effective response to LV network faults and supply interruptions.
  • Driving performance against restoration targets and customer satisfaction measures.
  • Ensuring all safety, technical, quality and commercial standards are met.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and setting clear expectations through visible leadership.
  • Supporting and developing colleagues, making sound decisions under pressure.

You will have:

  • A formal qualification in Electrical Engineering, 11kV SAP status would also be advantageous but is not a necessity.
  • Demonstrable experience of operating on a LV Distribution network and should be familiar with Operational Practice.
  • Managerial experience, demonstrating how you lead, develop and do the right thing.
  • It is essential that you are be able to promote and engage on safety matters at all levels and contribute towards a high performing safety culture within the team.
