You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office

Salary: £36,139 - £43,188 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We are looking for a Contracts Coordintor to join our team!

As a Contracts Coordinator you will facilitate and coordinate the offers and contracts between the National Energy System Operator and our respective Network areas. 

When we make a connection to the National Electricity Grid, we have to submit a Transmission agreement application when the capacity of electricity at certain supply points are almost full.

In this role you will manage and coordinate these applications and assist with managing data and finances.

We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail and is willing to go the extra mile.

You will

  • Co-Ordinate applications to and contracts received from NESO.
  • Raise and monitor purchase orders through our procurement system.
  • Monitor communications, ensuring queries are responded to efficiently and within timescales. 
  • Liaise with Finance on applicable invoices, receipts, and refunds.
  • Co-Ordinate internal/external data within SSEN and wider systems. 

You have

  • An understanding of the Electricity Grid connection process.
  • Experience raising Purchase Orders and invoicing.
  • Knowledge and experience of contract structures and documentation.
  • Knowledge of associated governance regarding purchase ordering.
  • Excellent organisation capabilities with the ability to deliver quality work to the agreed timescales.
