Salary: £35,200 - £52,800 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Project Assurance Analyst to join the SSEN Distribution Large Capital Delivery (LCD) team. The LCD team is responsible for managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of major capital projects and programmes across the electricity distribution network within the SEPD and SHEPD licence areas. These projects range in value from £2.5 million to £100 million, playing a critical role in the development and enhancement of the network infrastructure.
You will
- Undertake assessments across project delivery to ensure compliance with standards including relevant governance requirements.
- Ensure design, consenting and build works are defect free throughout the project lifecycle through regular checkpoints and reviews.
- Review and validate activity at regular intervals to ensure that the execution of LCD and its supplier's activities consistently and - demonstrably meet their specified requirements.
- Develop portfolio / programme / project-level reports with analysis, which provide updates on the performance of the work.
- Oversee and support project related compliance and reporting activities, including quality control; ensures that LCD has effective policy, processes and practices in place to meet its obligations.
You have
- A solid understanding of quality improvement frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- The ability to form effective working relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of quality and auditing procedures within similarly sized organisations.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative manner.
