Join our team as an Operations Resource Manager!

Are you an experienced people manager with a strong operational background? We’re looking for a dynamic Operations Resource Team Manager to lead a team of up to 25 field-based staff who deliver essential infrastructure projects, including new connections, reinforcement works, and network restoration across low to high voltage systems (up to 33,000 volts).

You will:

  • Leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet regulatory standards.
  • Overseeing daily operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Managing team performance across safety, compliance, training, and welfare, using internal systems to monitor and report progress.
  • Driving productivity improvements while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Handling core people management responsibilities such as absence, holidays, and resource planning to ensure delivery targets are met.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in managing operational teams, ideally in a field-based or industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to performance management, with confidence in using data and IT systems to drive results.
  • While industry knowledge of electricity distribution is beneficial, we welcome candidates from other sectors with transferable skills and a passion for leading teams in a fast-paced operational setting.

Due to the travel required you will need to have a full driving licence so that you can adequately travel within the Licenced area.
