We’re on the lookout for a proactive and driven Land Consents Officer to join our fast-paced and friendly team!
In this exciting role, you’ll be the key link between our business and landowners, securing vital permissions and consents needed for the installation of our equipment on New Connection projects. From negotiating access arrangements to handling wayleaves and easements, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our projects moving.
You’ll work side-by-side with our connections delivery teams, advising on route designs and helping to deliver projects that are not just efficient and cost-effective, but also safe and fully compliant with legislation. Your expertise will help us build and maintain strong relationships with landowners and customers alike – ensuring smooth delivery and long-term partnerships.

You will:
- Gain wayleaves, easements and access agreements.
- Produce access packs and legal drawings.
- Advise on route design & landowner impact.
- Deal with statutory bodies to obtain the relevant consents and planning.
- Liaise with connections team to update on progress.
You have:
- Demonstrated experience in wayleaves, with a good understanding of wayleave procedures.
- Experience in the distribution industry or a regulated environment is essential.
- Working knowledge of agriculture or forestry is a plus.
- A focus on health and safety, with the ability to operate confidently within a safety-focused culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
A full UK driving licence is a must, as the role involves a mix of office-based and site/field visits
