The role
The role supports the FP&A IT team to delivery high quality financial planning, analysis and reporting. The role will support in the delivery of insight to enable commercial decision making and provide analysis to track performance and make recommendations.
You will
Support in the preparation of month end reporting packs, including variance analysis to highlight commercial trends and promote commercial decision making.
Responsible for the month end forecast process, collation and uploading to system and support the budget process
Liaise with BU IT finance, forging strong relationships, to help create common IT reporting building a holistic view of IT Finance.
Support in the preparation of commercial reviews of new and existing projects.
Continuously seek and implement opportunities for improvements to the team’s processes, for example, work with the PB&F team to improve and streamline reporting through the use of new tools and AI.
You have
A professional accounting qualification (e.g. ICAS, ACCA or CIMA).
Proven modelling skills and an interest in technology solutions eg PowerBI, Power Apps
Keen analytical skills demonstrated through variance analysis
Able to effectively plan, organise and prioritise tasks and activities to maximise productivity.
