Our vision is to become the business-led hub for all Information Management needs across SSE Renewables, delivering high-value outcomes while modernising technologies, workflows, and best practices to create a seamless user experience. By building strong relationships and understanding business requirements and priorities, we aim to transform operations, accelerate growth, and maximise the value of data through an innovative, integrated approach.
As Data Management Lead, you’ll drive the implementation of robust data practices across SSE Renewables, ensuring data is accessible, trusted, and aligned with business needs. Reporting to the Data and Application Support Manager, you’ll provide technical leadership across the data lifecycle—from source systems to end-user applications—and collaborate with the Data Delivery Lead and Application Support Delivery Lead to ensure seamless data flow. You’ll also work closely with the Information Management Centre of Excellence to embed governance and align with organisational standards.
Your expertise in SCADA, geospatial data, and enterprise platforms like FME, AGOL, Microsoft Purview, Azure, and Power Platform will support initiatives in data modelling, metadata, quality, and master data management. As the technical lead for SSER’s digital data platform, you’ll identify opportunities to optimise data assets and co-develop a modern data strategy that empowers teams with timely, actionable insights. This strategic, hands-on role suits someone passionate about data, able to translate complex requirements into business value, and committed to supporting SSE Renewables’ growth and sustainability.
