Base Location: Cardiff, Reading or Perth

Salary: £50,100 - £75,100 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

As Commercial Contracts Manager, you will support the management and development of commercial contracts and spend activities for BEGB, ensuring alignment with customer commitments and the strategic direction of ECS. This role is pivotal in supporting business functions—such as supplier contracts for the services team and sales contracts by delivering the products and services they need to succeed.

You will work closely with the BEGB Management team as well as with Airtricity and central ECS departments, to ensure efficient, effective, and aligned contract operations across the business.

You will

  • Maintain and oversee all existing commercial contracts with customers and partners, ensuring BEGB and its stakeholders meet their obligations.
  • Support the creation and enhancement of commercial agreements, balancing risk and supporting new products, propositions, and structures from ECS Strategy & Business Development and Marketing teams.
  • Act as the primary liaison for BEGB contracts, ensuring clear communication between business stakeholders, Legal, and Procurement.
  • Partner with the Legal and Procurement to progress major contract developments and address tactical legal needs.
  • Ensure all contracts are governed appropriately, with no lapses in terms, and that due diligence is completed for all new and renewal agreements.
