Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations – Perth or Glasgow

Salary: £35,200 - £52,800 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern:  Fixed term contract (6 months) | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The role

As a Senior PMO Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of key programmes, including Connections Reform and improvement initiatives across the Customer Directorate.  In this 6 month fixed term contract you'll coordinate cross-functional efforts, ensuring robust governance, and delivering high quality reporting.  You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders such as NESO, Ofgem, DESNZ, and other network companies, to ensure timely delivery of customer focused transformation.

You will

  • Create and maintain actions and deliverables across the Connections Reform and Customers & Stakeholders continuous improvement programmes.
  • Implement governance standards across each programme of work, including tracking, updating, and reporting on the status of programme deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver regular timely and accurate programme reports, ensuring risks are tracked and that escalation processes are in place and adhered to.
  • Support the Head of Connections Reform and the Head of Customer Experience to develop, review and improve standard operating procedures and templates, ensuring that new materials are to a high standard, consistent and meet best practice.
  • Capture and share new business improvement requirements from various sources such as workshops, meetings, and shadowing colleagues.

You have

  • A formal and recognised project management accreditation in addition to a clear understanding of key PMO responsibilities, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects or programmes simultaneously.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines, with a flexible nature to respond to changing priorities you will be able to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques along with process analysis and mapping experience
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project knowledge, MS Project Online, MS-SharePoint.
  • Demonstrable ability to build positive relationships through strong communication, influencing and negotiating with project and programme stakeholders, senior business Directors and multi-disciplinary teams.
