Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from our Perth office.

Salary: £42,600 - £64,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The role

The Senior PMO Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) by providing advanced skills across our Programme Services portfolio of work. This role involves facilitating the successful delivery and oversight of projects through strong planning, governance, reporting and stakeholder management.

You will

- Portfolio Plan & Scope: You will work closely with senior management and subject matter experts to ensure project portfolios are effectively planned/scoped and managed through to completion. 

- Develop Stakeholder Communication: As a strong communicator, you will be required to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the business. This includes presenting information to senior management to gain buy in and support.

- Manager Risk & Project Governance: You will be required to implement risk management processes and reporting as well as identify, assess, and monitor project risks, and develop mitigation strategies. You will also work to set up solid project governance to enable decision making on projects and the correct roles and responsibilities are understood.

- Report & Analyse: You will be responsible for generating and analysing project reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management and executive committees.

You have

- Training & Support: You will ideally have experience in providing training, coaching, and support to team members.

- People & Resource Management: Experience in direct line management would be beneficial to assist in the allocation and tracking of project resources to ensure optimal utilization

- Process Improvement: Experience in process improvement would be beneficial. Continuously evaluate and improve PMO processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and experience of the wider energy industry and policy would be advantageous.

- Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed interpersonal, problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills, allowing you to forge and maintain effective working relationships at all levels internal and external.
