The role
This role is within our Networks Distribution IT team. We are looking for an experienced Senior Dev Ops Engineer with strong expertise in IBM Maximo v8 and later related systems & Oracle Field Services (OFS). The role will focus on development and providing day-to-day support, troubleshooting, configuration, and integration of Maximo & OFS with and other applications, as well as contributing to IT projects and ongoing system improvements.
You Will
Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for field technician users.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and training guides.
Provide IT projects and support for queries, virtual support, and tickets.
Contribute to solution design, process mapping, and requirements gathering.
Support functionality enhancements and system upgrades.
You Have
Experience with Maximo (v8 or later preferred), including requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, and successful implementations/upgrades.
Strong experience with OFS, including configuring business rules, screen context, filters, plug-in framework, and integrations.
Knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server database environments, including data extract and load (ETL). Scripting skills in Java, Python, or Jython, and experience with APIs.
Ability to design concise, well-documented solutions and code.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
