Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations – Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness
Salary: £35,200 - £42,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
Reporting to the Risk Lead, the Risk Analyst will play a key part in implementing Project Risk Management across Offshore Directorate Development projects. The role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to support project delivery. Working across multiple projects, the Risk Analyst will collaborate with teams including Project Management, Procurement, Commercial, Cost, and Scheduling to ensure risk processes are well-resourced, embedded, and monitored.
You will
- Support the implementation of project-level Risk Management across Offshore Projects, facilitating risk reviews and maintaining high-quality, consistent risk data.
- Assist in quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis, preparing data and aligning risk modelling with key project milestones.
- Coordinate and improve project-level risk reporting, ensuring alignment with cost and schedule outputs.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Procurement & Commercial, Scheduling, Cost Management, and Project Management to align risk processes and support project delivery.
- Maintain and enhance the quality of risk data within designated systems, identifying opportunities for system and reporting improvements.
You have
- Knowledge of Project Risk Management tools, methods, and collaboration interfaces with Procurement & Commercial, Cost, and Scheduling teams.
- Possess a strong desire to develop your expertise in Risk Management and actively learn relevant analysis tools and techniques.
- An understanding of the unique challenges and considerations of large infrastructure projects.
- The ability to analyse, communicate, and present risks in a strategic context to diverse stakeholders, offering clear mitigation insights and senior-level reporting.
- Excellent organisation, planning, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities and influence across functions and seniority levels.
- A proactive, pragmatic mindset with the flexibility to adapt, think clearly under pressure, and make sound, evidence-based recommendations.
