Salary: £54,952 - £64,738 and a range of benefits to support you and your family.

The role
We are embedding agility in our ways of working, building capability for a digital SSE of the future, meeting the
needs of our customers in a different way. SSE IT is building its Agile capability and continues to increase the
proportion of its delivery which utilises Agile methodology and tools. As a result, those in Delivery and Portfolio
Management roles need to have Agile experience and demonstrate an interest in championing it across the
business.
The main purpose of the Snr Portfolio Coordinator - Value role is to deliver and implement a value framework, from inception to Benefits Realisation, ensuring Change delivery across ECS is delivering value on its investments. Support the portfolio governance and assurance processes will form part of the role.
You will
Deliver a framework, working with product management and IT leaders to ensure that the change programme delivers value for money, tasks include:
You have
• A demonstrable understanding of SSE’s business areas, the Energy industry and IT
• Solid Understanding of Cost benefit analysis and tracking
• Awareness of information security practices within commercially sensitive environments Essential Functional / Technical Skills • Have relevant, applicable experience of working in a PMO/ Portfolio team
• Have experience in management or coordination of project and programme governance frameworks and standards (in particular Agile)
• Experience in applying various waterfall (e.g. Prince2, APM, PMP) and Agile methodologies and supporting context, such as governance, process and culture across different levels of portfolio
