Salary: £30,600 - £46,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
The role supports the delivery of robust financial control for SSE Group Services, which provides essential corporate functions to the wider SSE Group and its business units. These services include Legal, HR, Property and IT, all of which are critical to the Group’s operational success.
You will
Support the month end close process by preparing accruals and other transactions, including the setup and analysis of supporting schedules
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and contributing towards the operation of other key financial controls to enable accurate and reliable financial reporting
Support the annual audit process
Contribute to the the preparation of reporting that provides meaningful financial insights to the business
You have
Studying towards a professional accounting body (e.g. ICAS, ACCA or CIMA).
Able to effectively plan, organise and prioritise tasks and activities to maximise productivity.
Accurately process information with precision and minimal errors.
Eager to explore and gain a deeper understanding of the role and industry by asking insightful questions, seeking innovative solutions to challenges, and continuously learning.
