Due to our continued growth and extensive capital investment programme, we have numerous opportunities for passionate and experienced Project and Construction Management professionals to help deliver our ambitious plans over the next 5 years and beyond, as we directly facilitate Scotland’s ambitions to meet Net-Zero.

  • Site Construction Managers
  • Site Supervisors

Base Location: Flexible Scotland

Who we are

SSEN Transmission owns and operates the electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland. We have an approved capital investment programme of over £2bn over the next 5 years and fully expect this to rise through that period.

We transport energy from where it is generated to where it is needed, providing a safe and reliable supply of electricity to the communities it serves.  

SSEN Transmission facilitates the growth in renewable energy in the North of Scotland. The infrastructure we construct, maintain, and operate is key to the successful transmission of energy to the points of demand in the UK.

What do I need?

We would love to hear from individuals who are keen to help deliver the Network for Net-Zero and can demonstrate their Project or Construction Management experience within the Electrical Transmission industry, or within construction/utilities delivering major projects.

We also welcome applications from individuals with transferrable construction or project management skills from other industries.

Successful candidates will ensure project excellence is achieved through a competent, motivated and improvement focused team, using robust systems to support the project process.
