About the Role

Base Location: Torr Achilty/Orrin Power Station, Muir of Ord Stores

Salary: £25,703 - £29,879 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

As Storeperson, you'll be accountable for maintaining storage and inventory control across SSE's Onshore Hydro Renewable Generation, ensuring stock is replenished, stored correctly and delivered to site on time. You'll also participate in the site facilities maintenance, routine maintenance of site equipment & assisting with site compliance to SHE and Government regulations.

Some of your other main accountabilities will include;

- Carrying out deliveries to sites.

- Making collections from suppliers when required.

- Inventory management, including regular stock taking audits.

- Assisting the supervisor with control of returned parts, scrap or otherwise.

- Proving support in all aspects in the day to day running of the site as appropriate.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, we would love you to have;

- Experience in Forklift and/or overhead crane operations, however training will be provided.

- Knowledge of operating stock management systems.

- Experience in the Procurement of Machine Parts, Vehicle Parts, PPE or similar inventory.

- The ability to undertake manual handling of stock.

- Knowledge of booking Couriers and other Transportation methods. 

It is also essential that you have the willingness to travel, and a full, valid driving licence.
