Base Location: Site-based supporting projects in the north of Scotland

Salary: Highly Competitive salary + car/cash allowance + annual bonus + range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the Role?

SSEN Transmission has a fantastic opportunity for a Site Construction Manager to oversee HV delivery projects in the north of Scotland.

The key duties & responsibilities will be:

- Ensure projects are executed in accordance with relevant requirements relating to statutory and legal obligations, Health & Safety, Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, Quality & technical compliance, personnel and industrial relations.

- Ensure site activities are delivered to programme and desired quality, including installation of Energy Efficiency measures across multiple transmission sites.

- Installation of PV Arrays and EV Charging Points across multiple transmission sites.

- Ensure suppliers carry out works as per contractual requirements and SSEN specifications, policies and procedures.

- Adhere to SSEN Safety Management Systems, best practices and the SSE's governance processes for all projects.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would prefer you to have:

- Experience in supervision of work activities on construction and operational sites, within a safety-critical industry.

- Understanding of the Transmission Business and regulated environment that we operate in.

- A working engineering and construction knowledge including the Safety and CDM regulations.

- An understanding of quality requirements and experience in monitoring quality plans.

- A willingness to travel between multiple Transmission Operational and Construction Sites.
