Salary: €64,000 - €96,000 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus

What is the Role
As an experienced Project Manager with a Digital Portfolio background, you’ll join SSE’s Energy Customer Solutions IT team to accelerate our digital investment programme & ensure delivery a portfolio of high-profile customer-facing initiatives to drive SSE’s large-scale transformation to a Digital Utility.
You’ll oversee the Digital Portfolio and budget for IT and drive the iterative delivery of core technologies and digital capabilities across SSE’s Customer division delivering Customer centric capability using various technologies with cloud infrastructure(Azure), API and Event architecture at its core. In addition to the Scrum teams, close collaboration with SSE Solution Architects, Infrastructure, Cloud Services teams, Security Architecture & Compliance will be required to lead and embed mature agile methodologies, technology principles: decoupled design, cloud (SaaS / PaaS), DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as code (IaC) & Security by Design.
You’ll form and coordinate internal, 3rd party & offshore agile teams and PMs, BAs, UI/UX, Developers, Test Analysts & IT/business resources to deliver digital products that drive world class customer experience across Digital platforms. You’ll ensure successful delivery of Digital products in coordination with the business stake holders ensuring that efficient and appropriate portfolio governance is in place.
This is an exciting opportunity as we grow our Digital and Agile capability and it’s an opportunity to be part of that change working closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and IT Senior management
What do I need?
You’ll have a broad IT & Digital background with demonstrable experience in Agile Project & Programme Delivery. You’ll have experience in establishing and evaluating Digital Technologies and a track record in developing and implementing innovative roadmaps for Digital and Customer Experience Optimisation.
Additionally, you’ll have strong leadership skills and stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to question and change direction rapidly to support the business effectively.
