Base Location: Flexible UK & Ireland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however, need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK and Ireland.

In supporting this revolution, SSE has recently signed off an additional £12.5bn investment programme under the title of its Net Zero Accelerator Programme.
At SSE Energy Solutions we are working with clients across the public and private sectors through the deployment of a range of technologies and solutions. We do this through designing, installing, monitoring, maintaining and optimising the most appropriate solutions for smart places – cities, industrial parks, campuses, buildings and organisations.
All these solutions are supported by having a resilient electrical network and one which can support this decarbonisation journey. The role of the Networks Sector Director combines business development, commercial, engineering and project development. It will suit an individual with experience in the development and delivery of large energy system projects that span different technologies and customer segments and is used to delivering investment led projects.
As the Networks Sector Director, you will have the P&L responsibility for a number of existing areas, as well as the responsibility to develop a range of new propositions to support the development of the sector. Having the entrepreneurial flair to develop new propositions and seize opportunities with prospective clients across the public and private sectors is a key attribute in this role.
