About the Role
Base Location: UK
Salary: Up to £38,000 depending on skills and experience
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time, 37 hours | Flexible working patterns available

In this role, you'll take responsibility for developing and delivering early careers recruitment requirements across all early career programmes. As part of a small but hard-working team, you'll work together to understand the business needs, design attractive advertising campaigns, implement fit-for-purpose assessment tools and ensure an exceptional candidate experience is delivered throughout.
You'll develop close relationships with business stakeholders ensuring they are engaged and involved in the recruitment activity, end-to-end. You'll also be required to build key partnerships with schools, colleges, universities and external companies to ensure we promote our programmes to the broadest pool of talent and recruit a fully inclusive early careers pipeline. Additionally, you'll co-ordinate and support our involvement at careers events, support the delivery of our social media programme and promote our brand through a wide range of channels.
What do I need?
To succeed in this role, you must have experience working in a fast-paced early careers recruitment role. You'll understand the cyclical nature of the early career's recruitment calendar, and will be flexible and adaptable during peak periods.
We have a great team and are looking to add to it with a positive team player, who sets high personal standards and is adaptable and able to work under pressure. It's a very busy role, and you'll need to be comfortable working in a deadline driven environment where you can juggle multiple activities and prioritise effectively.
We are continually challenging ourselves to do things better, therefore you'll be given the scope and autonomy to be creative and proactive in your approach to coming up with and delivering new solutions and concepts, whilst always considering their impact on time/budget/resource and candidate experience. You'll also need to be good at problem solving and able to work on your own initiative.

SSE Human Resources is made up of several operational and specialist teams who strive to help the business to design, develop and deliver their people strategies. We partner with the business to provide expert advice on all people matters, enabling them to get the best out of their teams and equip them to meet the changing demands of our business now, and in the future.
The Resourcing Team manages SSE's recruitment in the UK and Ireland which includes everything up to Executive Committee level and covers specialist roles, volume campaigns and our early careers programmes. We work collaboratively with the business to help fulfil their recruitment requirements with the best talent in the timeliest and most cost effective way, whilst at the same time ensuring a first-class candidate experience.
