About the Role
Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, London or Dublin
Salary: £39,400 - £59,000 depending on skills and experience + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
Reporting to the Onshore Structural Engineering Technical Authority, you'll provide technical direction for a range of existing assets such as bridges, buildings, and onshore wind turbine foundations within our portfolio of renewable generation.
You'll undertake the assessment and evaluation of structural assets as well as providing technical input into lifetime extension of onshore wind turbine foundations and new-build projects.
What do I need?
We are looking for a Chartered or near Chartered Engineer educated to degree level, who has technical knowledge and experience within structural engineering and ideally, onshore wind turbine foundations.
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Experience in the structural assessment of historical assets.
- An understanding of the commercial context and implications of engineering activities and decisions.
- Outstanding interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, which you'll be capable of adapting to all management levels and situations.
- Excellent organisation skills, along with the ability to deliver quality work to the agreed timescales.
