About the Role
Base Location: Flexible UK, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key sites in the UK, with regular travel to our offices in Perth or Glasgow.
Salary: £39,400 - £59,000 depending on skills and experience + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Your main accountabilities will include;
-The effective and timely execution of risk-based assessment and consultancy and advice activities scheduled within the Renewables integrated assurance programme.
-Providing constructive appraisal, insight and challenge of business processes, working with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for controls enhancement.
-Supporting the business in understanding how processes are used to deliver business objectives while meeting associated obligations and to identify where risks can be further mitigated, or opportunities grasped.
-Leading the delivery of assigned assurance assessments as well as on-going monitoring activities with a focus on commercial and financial processes, effectively scoping and planning these throughout the business and, on occasion, with joint venture partners or strategic suppliers.
-Using a risk-based approach, to provide critical challenge, assess resultant outputs and engage with key stakeholders to identify areas of concern and therefore enhancement opportunities.
-Working collaboratively with other members of the R&A team and business stakeholders to identify the most effective means to deliver identified improvements, contributing to the delivery of these enhancements and provide regular updates on progress against the agreed schedule.
-Supporting the R&A Performance & Reporting Manager through the provision of timely reporting metrics, aligned with the reviews and provide ad hoc cover for our data protection specialist in responding to data protection queries.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have;
-An auditing and/or other relevant qualification, coupled with significant experience in a similar assurance role, preferably within the energy sector.
- A passion for using your skills and experience to help business colleagues enhance processes and their controls to add value within a collaborative and energetic team.
-A highly analytical mind-set, with strong data analysis, process improvement, facilitation and interrogation capabilities.
-The ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation using your strong influencing and negotiation skills to implement effective internal controls and business improvements.
-The ability to be well organised, results-orientated and capable of delivering high quality work within tight deadlines, under minimal supervision.
