About the Role

Base Location: Flexible UK, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key sites in the UK, with regular travel to our offices in Perth or Glasgow.

Working Pattern: 14 Month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

Prompted by upcoming maternity leave as well as the growing scope of delivery from the team, this role offers an exciting opportunity to join a strong, passionate team, broaden your personal experience and be part of delivering our Net zero acceleration plan in a business that is building the world’s largest offshore wind farm, growing across multiple international regions and taking real steps to achieving Net Zero for society.

-Providing constructive appraisal, insight and challenge of business processes, working with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for controls enhancement.

-Supporting the business in understanding how processes are used to deliver business objectives while meeting associated obligations and to identify where risks can be further mitigated, or opportunities grasped.

-Leading the delivery of assigned assurance assessments as well as on-going monitoring activities with a focus on commercial and financial processes, effectively scoping and planning these throughout the business and, on occasion, with joint venture partners or strategic suppliers.

-Using a risk-based approach, to provide critical challenge, assess resultant outputs and engage with key stakeholders to identify areas of concern and therefore enhancement opportunities.

-Working collaboratively with other members of the R&A team and business stakeholders to identify the most effective means to deliver identified improvements, contributing to the delivery of these enhancements and provide regular updates on progress against the agreed schedule.

-Supporting the R&A Performance & Reporting Manager through the provision of timely reporting metrics, aligned with the reviews and provide ad hoc cover for our data protection specialist in responding to data protection queries.
