About the Role

Base Location: Flexible UK & Ireland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK and Ireland.

This base location could be Glasgow or Eurocentral.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The Project Manager is responsible for the continued build out of gas & water projects across the central belt of Scotland.

As the projects are completed and closed, the PM will be required to delivery projects across the Distributed Energy sectors of ICP, Heat, EV, Private Networks & Smart Energy Solutions.

1. The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the project delivery ensuring that all activities are carried in compliance with      safely regulations, are on budget, on time and meet quality standards.

2. The PM will ensure that all Operational, Commercial and Financial tasks relating to project delivery has been completed to an                  exceptionally high level. Ensuring that business policies & procedures have been followed and would stand to scrutiny.

3. Being a positive influence and playing your part in building a good safety culture within the business.

4.  Understand and administer contracts associated with the project, with both client and suppliers.

5. Keep up to date with the latest industry technologies in order to identify and establish innovative solutions

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

1. A thorough working knowledge of Utilities. Specialising in one or more discipline.

2. A proactive SMSTS applicator. Understanding and accepting the pre-requisite responsibilities associated with the accreditation.

3. Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with technical and report writing skills.

4. Proficient working knowledge of MS Project and the wider MS suite.

5. Ability to effectively plan activities to meet agreed deadlines and to concentrate efforts in areas of maximum reward.
