Salary: £26,120 - £34,500 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time, 37 hours per week | Flexible working options available

What is the Role?

The SHEPD Large Capital Projects Team is a key department established within the SSEN Distribution business to ensure a number of large projects are delivered efficiently, on time and within budget. Reporting to the Head of Large Capital Projects (SHEPD), you'll be assisting the Large Capital Projects teams within the Distribution Business and will have responsibility for:

- Working closely with our Project Managers to assist in the successful delivery of several major projects across Scotland. Managing project accounts, raising purchase orders, making sure suppliers are paid on time and dealing with external supplier queries.

- Coordinating and preparing all project meetings, making sure these are scheduled, attended and minutes are recorded to a high quality.

- You'll manage the preparation and compilation of key project documentation and will ensure all project deadlines are supported and met. This will include organising all project reporting, making sure reports are produced on time and to a high-quality standard.

- Assisting the project team with the project specific administration duties.

- The candidate will also coordinate the project teams movements, calendars, meetings and necessary scheduling to make sure these run smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will interact with key stakeholders for each project, liaising on project details and attending meetings where required.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Project experience working in a similar industry.

- The role will involve managing and reporting on project finances, therefore previous experience in this area would be beneficial.

- Experience in an administration or business management role.

- You should also have a proven ability to manage key stakeholders and be able to prioritise work in the most effective way to meet deadlines.

- Experience in the governance and reporting on multi million pound project budgets along with an understanding of developing project specific documentation to align with Governance processes.
