About the Role
Base Location: Cardiff, Reading or Perth
Salary: £46,100 - £69,100 + car / allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
What is the Role?
As the lead for the product and propositions function within the Business Energy division of SSE, which has gone through transformational change over the last two years, you will be responsible for setting the innovation horizon for up to three years out. Through segmenting of our customer base and identifying gaps in the market you will have the opportunity to create new products and propositions directly responding to our customer’s needs.
- Ideation and prioritisation of product development pipelines
- Delivering internal and external customer research through direct and agency related resource
- Analyse and understand market data to assess current and future energy trends to inform product strategy
- Lead the development of new customer partnerships to drive strategic growth
- Manage key stakeholder relationships across the SSE Group beyond immediate P&L owners.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Extensive propositions & product experience - preferably in large Telecommunications/Financial services/ Energy firm focusing on Consumer/Domestic propositions and products.
- Proven track record of delivery of end to end products and propositions, including lifecycle management.
- Experience in analysing and manipulating complex data sets to drive out actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact up to senior management level both written and verbally.
