What is the Role?

The Measurements and Power Performance Team deliver meteorological measurement campaigns for SSER's international portfolio of onshore and offshore wind farms - from the early development stages through to construction - and power performance assessments of operational wind turbines.

As Offshore Measurements Analyst, you'll lead on the management of offshore measurement campaigns while supporting the teams power performance testing programs and onshore measurements. You'll also work across multiple projects, liaising with key stakeholders, contractors, and the wider Technical Analysis team.

This role will allow you to gain significant exposure to energy yield modelling, site conditions assessment, project design, and operational analysis.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, we would love you to have:

- A degree level qualification in a physical science, engineering or other highly numerate field.

- Demonstrable experience managing offshore measurement campaigns (from concept to deployment) using Floating Lidars and/or metocean devices including wave buoys and AWAC systems.

- Experienced in the deployment, commissioning, setup and troubleshooting of Lidar systems including vertical profilers, scanning and nacelle mounted Lidar.

- A background encompassing power curve testing campaigns, data analysis and wind resource assessment.

- A strong track record in delivering projects safely and working with contractors to ensure high SHE standards.
While the location of this role is flexible within the UK, regular travel to SSER's Glasgow office will be required, with occasional international travel and offshore site visits.

You must be also physically able and willing to access an offshore wind turbine.
