Base Location: Glasgow

In order to meet these ambitions, significant growth and investment is required and SSER is expanding its Finance team focusing on offshore.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Offshore FP&A & Construction Finance Manager to join the Renewables Commercial Finance team based in Glasgow reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance - Offshore.
This unique role will have a dual focus. You will be the direct business partner to the Offshore Capital Projects Director, with the specific focus on SSE’s current offshore projects in construction; Dogger Bank and Seagreen. You will build relationships with the project finance teams with the purpose of acting as the key SSER finance representative. You will provide consistent updates and insight to SSER senior management and directors on programme, capex, cashflows whilst liaising with our trading business on hedging strategies.

The secondary focus of the role is managing the financial planning and analysis for the entire of the SSER Offshore business. You will own the financial plan for the entire SSER Offshore business which will require engagement and partnering across the SSER Offshore finance managers and wider business, putting the candidate in a unique “high profile” position. You will develop a holistic view of the entire SSER offshore business with a wider understanding of the competitive global offshore market.
