About the Role

Base Location: Inverness

Salary: £24,479 - £29,879 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As a Civils & Buildings Multi-Skilled Craftsperson you will be responsible for;

- Primarily carrying out civil & buildings maintenance activities within your competence and other maintenance personnel in day to day defect rectification, repair work and designated project work.

- Overseeing compliance works by others to ensure our sites meet statutory obligations.

- Communicating with other team members and report operational defects as they arise.

- Carrying out risk assessments, plus environmental and safety inspections to transmission sites.

- Due to the nature of the role you may, from time to time, be required to work outside in all weather conditions and it may be necessary to carry out work out of normal working hours when required.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Applicants must have a multi skilled craftsperson background and should ideally have previous experience of working in an industrial setting.

- You will be required to have a minimum qualification of CSC or other accreditation. 

- The ability to work as part of a team and able to communicate effectively as you will be interacting with the public and people at all levels of the business.

- You will be computer literate and will be required to become proficient in using our maintenance scheduling and reporting software and other company software applications for which training will be given.

- The job requires a highly flexible attitude to all aspects of work in the section. The ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues is essential.
