We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Sub Station Clearance / Inspection Operative to join our team.
Your main responsibilities will be annual Substation plant inspections on SSEN’s 11kV network you also be involved in vegetation clearance and weed control. The role can be demanding, and you will be working outdoors in all weathers.
What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent customer service skills and a high regard for your own and the safety of others in all situations. You’ll have good problem solving and organisational skills. As there is a requirement to travel in different locations, a full driving license is therefore essential. As a lone worker, you will need to be self-motivated. Relevant on site experience would be beneficial & previous experience with landscaping machinery, PA1 and PA6 NPTC spraying qualifications would be an advantage, but not necessary as all training can be provided.
