About the Role

Base Location: Hampshire or Berkshire

Salary: Up to £58,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your finances, health and wellbeing

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and creative professional to join our HR team supporting the SSE Distribution business. Operating as a trusted partner and advisor in all aspects of HR, Organisational Design and Employee Relations, you'll work collaboratively with the business and drive performance through people solutions by demonstrating a truly consultative approach to your work.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

- Implementing a strategic workforce plan for each of your business areas based on understanding their strategic goals, people demographics, and culture.

- Identifying, critically evaluating, influencing, and developing appropriate solutions to help the Distribution Leadership Team (LT) achieve their goals and vision.

- Managing HR change projects, collaborating effectively across the wider HR team and managing stakeholder relationships.

- Using data, metrics and evidence to inform and drive decision making and change across the Directorate.

- Implementing talent strategies, including personal and team development plans, performance management processes, and succession planning.

- Assessing the output of the annual Employee Engagement survey, and oversee the implementation of an Employee Engagement plan for the Directorate.

What do I need?

With your experience in a similarly specialist HR business partnering role, you'll be adept at building solid relationships with key business influencers and will be comfortable operating at a senior level with enthusiasm.

We'd also love you to have: -

- The ability & experience to understand, evaluate and articulate the key business drivers which affect each Directorate's business performance, finding solutions to meet these requirements.

- Experience of managing projects and delivering successful outcomes, with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Strong analytical skills and a sound level of comfort analysing big data sets to make rational, well-balanced and reasoned decisions.

- Demonstrable commitment to the promotion of inclusion, diversity and equality.

- Proven track record in delivering key initiatives and solutions and working in true partnership with internal customers
