About the Role
Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness
Salary: £96,100 - £144,100 + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

SSE are looking to hire an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Renewables Business. This is a high-profile role where you’ll need to build effective relationships and confidently influence senior leaders to shape the business agenda
A member of the Renewables Executive committee, you will lead a team of skilled HR Managers, providing HR partnering support to business leaders and managers, identify opportunities and recommending solutions that help to achieve business objectives and take part in critical decisions that determine the success of the Business including;
1. Working at a senior level, you’ll use your commercial business partnering skills to provide strong leadership, influence, advice, coaching and counsel to the business leadership teams.
2. You’ll work collaboratively to ensure that all people aspects of organisational change are delivered in an effective and efficient manner to achieve strategic outcomes that support business improvement goals.
3. You’ll partner with business leaders to understand their commercial business strategies. Key activities will include the identification of attraction and retention strategies in a hugely competitive market, delivery of talent and succession processes and ensuring relevant and timely learning and development interventions, the development and provision of tailored reward frameworks, implementation of organisational design activity and engagement with professional and shared HR services.
4. A key member of the Energy HR leadership community, you’ll take a proactive role in driving the inclusion and diversity strategy across Renewables.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
1. Demonstrable business partnering experience at an executive level coupled with extensive generalist HR experience across all aspects of HR, ideally with experience in supporting international expansion. This includes proven experience in Reward, Organisational Design, Talent Management and Employee Relations.
2. A track record of building effective HR Teams and working with Centres of Excellence
3. Effective facilitator, who can shape and support the development of leadership teams, be a critical thinker and creative problem solver
4. Highly organised, delivery focussed and decisive and an excellent communicator who is dynamic, resilient, and confident.
5. CIPD qualification or equivalent.
6. Strong analytical skills to influence decisions and impact business outcomes.
