Base Location: Glasgow Eurocentral
Salary: £28,300 - £42,500 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time
The main purpose of the role is to oversee the delivery and execution of FM services and activities on a large-scale single site and/or multiple smaller sites. You will be accountable for the delivery of all soft FM services on the site and for ensuring all planned works are completed within the agreed timescale and to the required standard. You will also be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all maintenance services and retain the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with the Maintenance Manager in relation to matters of non-performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Safety - Review and monitor safety processes and procedures on projects, in order to ensure compliance with SHE standards. Through liaison with the Corporate SHE Team and FM Engineering Team, ensure all legislative and best practice SHE requirements are complied with.
Site Responsibility - Retain overall accountability for all FM activity taking place across the site. Manage work schedules in an effective and efficient manner and ensure activity is correctly assigned to Team members who are skilled and competent to carry out these works.
Audit and Work Control - Be accountable for all work on the site and ensure third party suppliers/contractors are properly briefed on the scope of work. Check and verify that works have been carried out in line with expectations and relevant SLAs. Manage any identified non-performance issues and take appropriate corrective/mitigation action.
Budget Management - Set revenue and capital budgets. Be responsible for writing financial cases for capital budgets. Be responsible for the management, including variations, of a budget of up to £1.5million. Manage the area budget and take accountability for all works within it. Manage the area budget and meet cost and service targets getting best value for money.
Service - Ensure that all aspects of service delivery are operating as required. Actively seek feedback on the services being delivered by the Team and take remedial action where non-performance is identified. Work across the wider Property and FM Team in order to identify continual improvement opportunities. Liaise with business stakeholders in order to continually improve service delivery and compliance.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Qualification related to the FM profession such as IWFM Level 4, or any other accreditations in line with the FM discipline.
- Formal knowledge of Health and Safety training (e.g. IOSH or Nebosh or equivalent).
- The ability to develop working relationships with a wide range of people, understanding needs and facilitating required outcomes of business functions to support the delivery of their departmental strategy.
- Working knowledge of various Microsoft packages including excel, word, PowerPoint, outlook.
- Office 365, Teams etc; CAFM systems (Planon).
- Previous management experience within FM with knowledge of both hard and soft FM services.
- This role will require travel between sites therefore a flexible approach and full driving license is essential.
