The Business Energy Intelligence team provide key energy analytical services to our customers and the wider Energy market. They have become established as the key differentiated service provider for SSE’s Business Energy business and the wider Energy Market.
Key Responsibilities
You will own the product development, writing of specifications and ongoing continual improvement of our Business Energy Intelligence (BEI) aM&T software platform to ensure that expected benefits are tracked and realised and that customer adoption is in line with expectations.
You will be responsible for leading the Business Energy Intelligence team and own the platform requirements, seeking stakeholder approval and working with IT to implement changes. You will have ultimate authority on new versions and updates and developing the go-to-market plan.
You will make continual improvements and developments to ensure that BEI stays at the forefront of the market and a leading aM&T software platform.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
Extensive experience of AM&T energy management software platforms.
Experience in energy and carbon management.
Knowledge of energy legislation.
Experience of managing a P&L.
Line management experience and passionate about the development of others.
With strong organisational design and project management skills, you will be a good listener and a strong communicator with the ability to articulate a delivery vision. You will be pragmatic and flexible in your approach with the gravitas to influence at all levels.
You will have experience of C-suite level engagement and be able to co-ordinate across multiple SSE businesses to identify lead generation and co-ordinate delivery activities.
Experience of working with customers to provide and product manage new services. An understanding of the energy supply and energy services industries will be critical to your success. You will demonstrate strong knowledge of competitor positioning and current market dynamics.
