What is the Role?
SSE Enterprise Lighting Nottingham are looking for an experienced Highway Electrician. The role will be supporting a wide range of services provided to the local clients. Installing and maintaining Street lighting and highway electrical systems
What do I need?
You will have completed an Electrical Apprenticeship or achieved an NVQ Level 3 and be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of Electrical systems operating principles. You should be qualified to the current IEE Wiring regulations BS7671 or to City and Guilds 2360 parts 1 and 2, or 2351,2330 level 2 and 3 [ or approved equivalent]. City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing would be an advantage.
The role would suit a person with a wide range of experience and knowledge of specialist equipment.
Working at height on the highway and holding the correct authorisations such as IPAF and HERS Registration would be beneficial. The role requires good communication and IT skills as back office software systems are in use to monitor equipment on site. The role could lead to progression and supporting the Team Manager to plan and supervise works.
It is essential you have a full UK driving licence for this role.
