Salary: £53,300 - £79,900 + car/car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the Role?

We have a fantastic new opportunity within our Renewables Operations business for a 'Control Room Systems Strategy Manager', who will play a pivotal role working closely with key stakeholders across the business to lead the digital transformation within our Control Room.

You'll be accountable for defining and delivering strategic and operational capability around a product and systems range that will digitise and automate the control room environment as part of an agile delivery model ensuring alignment with the overall SSE Renewables strategy.

Some of your other main accountabilities will include, providing technical leadership and knowledge across the business to deliver digitalisation and automation while engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders to establish a compelling vision for the future. You will be required to work in an agile way as part of the updated IT/OT infrastructure delivery model so excellent communication, negotiation and prioritisation skills are required. You will also lead the commercial reporting and cost management processes as well as being accountable for budget and cost forecasting delivery.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- A solid background encompassing operational systems, digitisation and automation with a track record of delivering solutions to the power generation market

- People leadership experience in a diverse and geographically spread team

- Previous experience of successfully developing and implementing operational strategies and technologies with the ability to influence through developing the right relationships with stakeholders.

- Excellent communications, delegation and negotiating skills needed to drive transformational change.
