Our Business Transformation is a 8 year programme which will initially simplify and standardise our processes, build a culture of change, improve our performance and build the capabilities across our business to ensure we are fit for the future and deliver our ambitious SSE strategy.

The change adoption manager(s) will actively support the Transformation Office to design. They will play a key role in ensuring that all Transmission colleagues are aware, informed and engaged in the programme.

Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen

Salary: £44,100 - £66,100 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The duties and responsibilities of the Change Adoption Manager are:

- Define and embed a Transmission wide business change framework including tools and methodologies to deliver a consistent change management approach and competence across our business.

- Conduct and monitor ongoing and effective change impact assessments, business readiness assessments and stakeholder analysis as part of the change adoption plan.

- Manage, lead and deliver a programme of work to drive a culture change.

- Work in partnership with key stakeholders to co-ordinate and manage the delivery of business change activities.

- You will be responsible for building a capability to make change stick beyond the lifecycle of the project, ensuring the documentation, training and success factors are understood, our business is ready to accept the change and its transition to BAU.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience in Change Management and models e.g. Kotter, McKinsey, ADKAR etc.

- Strong Stakeholder Engagement skills and experience.

- Excellent Communication skills; written, verbal and presenting.

- Knows what it means to be a great team player and is well organised, highly motivated and self-starter.

- Critical thinking skills, knows how to analyse and solve problems and be end user focused; understand the importance of the end user and the impact the change has on them.
