What is the Role? 

As Support Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for spearheading business development within the region, along with key account management of our envied existing customer base.

We already work with some of the biggest names in retail, business, healthcare and education and you’ll quickly develop an understanding of why our existing customers turn to us. It’ll be your role to target key stakeholders in identical sectors, identify the value we offer and present compelling business cases to secure new service level agreements.

This is a management position, an integral part of a winning team within the building controls arena and the wider SSE distributed energy business. Your peers will be other high performing Support Sales Managers along with some of the industries most experienced technical staff. You’ll partner closely with Senior Branch Management and with the strategic support of our Support Sales Director.

What do I need?

A hungry and proactive door opener, who thrives in a competitive market place with the most premium offer. You’ll require strong commercial skills built on top of a credible technical background. With comprehensive product training provided, you’ll be comfortable advising Energy, Technical and Business Directors on the best solutions for their needs.

You’ll be motivated to help and understand people, their environments and the demands placed upon them. Your drive will be to provide the best possible service while demonstrating exceptional value.

To be successful in this role you must have relevant experience in Building Energy Management Systems, complementary Building Management Services or Facilities Management.

You’ll be excited by innovative solution selling and being at the forefront of emerging technologies, including integrated smart building solutions, data analytics, energy visualisation platforms, IoT and cloud connectivity.

Due to the nature of this role, it's essential you possess a full driving licence.
