Salary: £45,200 to £67,800 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing

What is the Role?

The Agile Delivery Lead will be responsible for shaping and establishing a new Agile delivery capability to support Procurement and Commercial’s Digital Programme,  The 4 key elements of this ambition are to: optimise the core; deliver enhanced data, analytics and insight; enhance the customer experience and; drive automation of business processes.

The Agile Delivery Lead will have a focus and passion to drive an optimised set of ‘user journeys’ across the Procurement & Commercial team, with internal customers and supply chain, through the deployment of new and existing technical solutions and process improvements.

This is not a software development role.

Key responsibilities will be:-

- Define an appropriate operating model and establish a small Procurement Agile Delivery Team for the delivery of ongoing improvements through appropriate Agile methods.

- Define ways for working between Procurement and Group IT so that Procurement is as self sufficient as possible without compromising core / critical systems

- Ensuring that Agile delivery is understood and the team adheres to theory, practice, and guidelines.

- Establish an appropriate process (and proposed policies) for prioritised delivery of technical and process improvements, without placing a burden on the operational team i.e. make change seamless and new ways of working easy adopt

- Facilitate and supports all Agile events e.g. funnel, sprint planning, scrums

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience of an Agile framework or method as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.

- Ability to define and deliver solutions to meet business challenges.

- Ability to influence people outside own sphere of responsibility.

- A 'fail fast' approach to process improvement and optimisation through early testing and analysis

- Procurement experience is desirable but not essential.
