About the Role

Base Location: Flexible UK & Ireland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK and Ireland.

Salary: £19,100 - £26,300 a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

SSE digital services team is currently expanding and have a new opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our team. Working as part of a small team, this role covers a full range of administrative support and guidance to ensure business requirements are achieved.

  • Responsible for applying company procedures and policies to all tasks in a consistent, responsive, high quality and cost effective manner to support service to customers
  • Responsible for booking contracts onto account system, scheduling invoices and document management associated with purchase orders and invoicing
  • Responsible for stock control, managing stock limits, replenishing stock, arranging delivery and invoicing
  • Responsible for managing email requests and calls from internal and external stakeholders, creating job packs, raising job numbers and purchase orders and managing day to day enquiries
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting packs
  • What do I need?

    To be considered for this role, we would love you to have;

  • Proven experience in booking contracts, raising purchase orders and working with finance systems
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages, particularly excel, word and powerpoint
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain a collaborative working environment with all stakeholders including customer and external service providers
  • Highly organised with a great attention to detail, self driven with an ability to work on your own initiative
