What is the Role?
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Advisor (APA) will be part of small team performing the Accounts Payable function for SSEET. The APA will be responsible for the timely processing and payment of invoices and other AP payment requests in the Workday ERP, including:
- Invoice verification and validation (including exception handling)
- Supplier Statement Reconciliations
- Supply and invoice administration
- Query Resolution
- Telephony support
- Payment Processing of various methods including foreign currency
What do I need?
We are looking for someone with a background (minimum of 12 months) in an Accounts Payable department. They must have sound awareness of principles, practices, regulations and procedures relating to Accounts Payable and have demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Able to contribute positively to the overall direction of the Accounts Payable function, they also require strong written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and excellent personal organisational & time management skills. Technically proficient in all MS Office tools, particularly Excel, they are also able to demonstrate numeracy, problem solving and awareness of risk. Significant exposure to and experience of a large-scale ERP is essential; a detailed knowledge of Workday ERP would be an advantage but not essential.
